DO GOOD WORK. BE RESPONSIBLE.
TAKE CARE OF THE COMUNITY AND THE PEOPLE
WHO WORK FOR YOU.”

Founder, James Ghilotti

These words from the founder are the brick and mortar that have formed the foundation of Ghilotti Construction Company. The company contributes to the community in several ways. First, there are in-kind donations of capital improvements — such as grading and paving parking lots — and second, the commitment of many employees hours to more than two dozen North Bay nonprofit organizations and causes.

“We support our employees’ local charities by donating and sponsoring their charity events,” said company owner and President Richard Ghilotti. “While education is a priority, so are children’s charities, food banks and other nonprofits that directly benefit families. When you come from a large Italian family as I do, your heart goes out to the needs of other families who are less fortunate.”

Ghilotti Construction supports other educational organizations, including Sonoma State University, Marin Catholic High School, San Domenico Grammar School, Rio Lindo Adventist Academy, Redwood Adventist Academy, Dominican University, Santa Clara University and River Montessori Foundation.

Children, youth and family organizations are also recipients of Ghilotti Construction contributions. Those include North Bay Children’s Center, Oma Village, Miracle League North Bay, Homeward Bound of Marin, Speedway Children’s Charities, A Chance in Life (formerly known as Boy & Girls Town of Italy , St. Jude’s Foundation, Sunny Hills Services, Love a Child Missions, Center for Domestic Peace, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), and Sonoma County YMCA.

GHILOTTI CONSTRUCTION IS A MAJOR SUPPORTER OF THE dg FOUNDATION

Ghilotti Construction is a proud supporter of The dg Foundation. The non-profit was founded in honor of Dino and Nancy Ghilotti, son and wife of president Richard Ghilotti, to carry on the legacy of a young man and his mother with a passion for academics, athletics, and arts. The dg Foundation is dedicated to helping students with similar passions by awarding scholarships to San Domenico School, Marin Catholic High School, the University of Miami and improving art programs and athletic facilities in the North Bay. Ghilotti Construction and The dg Foundation have teamed up on multiple projects to improve athletic and art facilities in the North Bay including the Dino Ghilotti Motta Stadium and Field House Complex at Marin Catholic, Dino R. Ghilotti Park in Novato for the Miracle League North Bay, The Children’s Museum of Sonoma County and the Dino Ghilotti Motta Visual Arts Center at San Domenico Grammar School.
