We are pleased to share that Max Windrick has been promoted to Lead Dispatcher at Ghilotti Construction Company.
Born and raised in Santa Rosa, California, Max attended Casa Grande High School and went on to earn a degree from Sonoma State University. Before joining Ghilotti Construction, he spent 11 years with UPS, where he started loading trucks in high school and worked his way through several leadership roles, including Line Supervisor, Air Operations Supervisor, Dispatch Supervisor, and Center Manager. His time there was marked by a perfect FAA audit score in airport operations and led his team to more than 5,000 safe workdays. These accomplishments reflect his dedication to excellence and safety.
Since joining Ghilotti Construction seven years ago, Max has played a key role in our equipment operations. Working closely with our mechanics team, he helped implement our GPS tracking system, overseeing more than 550 pieces of equipment and successfully recovering over $500,000 in stolen assets. Additionally, Max has managed the daily staffing and planning for employees assigned to projects requiring specialized training, ensuring GCC’s ongoing compliance with the Skilled and Trained Workforce Program standards, and coordinating employee enrollment to support career advancement opportunities within the organization. His technical skill, leadership, and problem-solving abilities have made him an invaluable member of our operations team
In his new role as Lead Dispatcher, Max will lead a team of two dispatchers, ensuring the continued efficiency, safety, and reliability of our field operations.
When asked about his proudest accomplishment, Max didn’t hesitate that raising his children alongside his wife through life’s joys and challenges.
