Gerardo Morales, previously Grading Foreman, was promoted to Area Superintendent for GCC’s Division 60.

Morales was born in San Francisco, raised in the Bay Area, and graduated from Armijo High School in Fairfield, CA.

In his new role, Morales oversees GCC jobsites across Division 60. He is responsible for project management, quality assurance, communication, contract management, safety and compliance, planning, reporting, conflict resolution, and team motivation.

Morales has 27 years of solid construction experience, including 10 years at GCC serving in Grade Setter and Grading Foreman roles. He’s known for his strong communication and job coordination skills, training expertise, attention to detail, and talent for building good relationships with customers.

Morales’ contributions have been vital to GCC’s success and a better future for our company. He managed our Apple Campus and Facebook Campus projects and our 101/DeLaCruz/Trimble street improvement and bridge replacement projects, and he’s trained crews for years.
