Petaluma, CA. Ghilotti Construction Company, one of theNorth Bay’s largest commercial contractors, has joined the board of directors of North Bay Leadership Council (NBLC), the organization announced today. The addition of Ghilotti Construction brings one of the most dynamic sectors of theNorth Bayeconomy — construction and engineering—to the NBLC membership.
“NBLC members should represent the diversity of industries that support our regional economy and should include the kind of passionate individuals who are committed to the vitality of theNorth Bay,” said Steve Page, chairman of NBLC. “Ghilotti Construction will bring an informed perspective to the critical infrastructure questions on the Council’s agenda and Dick Ghilotti will be an outstanding personal addition to our board.
With 92 years of engineering experience. Ghilotti Construction has grown their annual revenues to more than $90 $110 million. It is headquartered inSanta Rosa, with offices inSan Rafael andAmericanCanyon. During the peak of the construction season, the company has some 350 workers in its employ. Ghilotti Construction is the general contractor on the Highway 101 construction projects atSteele Lane and Highway 12 inSanta Rosa. Past projects include work for Infineon Raceway, Buck Institute for Research in Aging, Big Rock Ranch for Lucasfilm and many others.
Dick Ghilotti, owner and president of Ghilotti Construction, will be the representative on the board of NBLC. He represents the third generation of his family to lead Ghilotti Construction.
