Ghilotti Construction proudly supported local history and community heritage by donating 300 gallons of diesel fuel to Sturgeon's Mill - Restoration Project in Sebastopol!
Founded in 1914, the same year as Ghilotti Construction, Sturgeon's Mill was a captivating steam-powered sawmill that preserved a piece of our past. Retired Ghilotti Construction Superintendent Jess Todd volunteered at this living museum, offering visitors a glimpse into the past and the rich history of the sawmill.
During 'Mill Run Days' at Sturgeon's Mill on May 4th & 5th, June 15th & 16th, August 3rd & 4th, and September 14th & 15th, from 10AM to 3PM, guests had the opportunity to experience the magic of steam-powered machinery and witness history in action! It was an unforgettable opportunity to step back in time and celebrate our shared heritage.

Congratulations to our #5990 Windsor River Road Intersection crew! The Town of Windsor, CA has won a statewide honor for its roundabout.
"The Outstanding Local Streets and Roads Project Awards, sponsored by the League of California Cities, County Engineers Association of California, and California State Association of Counties, celebrate transportation projects that protect and improve local streets, roads, and bridges, according to a March 13 news release.
Completed in March 2023, the Windsor River Road and Windsor Road Intersection Improvement and Multi-Use Pathway Connector Project was named the overall winner and recognized during the Cal Cities Public Works Officers Institute on March 13 in Monterey County.
The town was “recognized for an innovative intersection improvement and multi-use pathway connector project that created a safer active transportation infrastructure for vehicles and pedestrians alike,” the release said."
